On Monday, December 9, 2019–BKUI held a Mobility General Lecture for international class students at 9 a.m in Seminar room, Siti Walidah Building 7th floor. 141 students who attended the public lecture came from several study programs, such as Communication Science, Islamic Studies, Management, Electrical Engineering, Industry Engineering, Accounting, and English education.
General lecture which aims to give comprehensive information to International Program students who are interested in taking student mobility abroad. The general lecture was opened by Head of Bureau of Collaborations and International Affairs, Supriyono, Ph.D. In his speech, he motivated students and explained briefly if there would be a representative from U.S. Embassy, Jakarta.
M. Iqbal, a representative from U.S. Embassy, Jakarta delivered presentation material on “Study in the United States”. In his explanation he delivered about brand of education in the USA, U.S education system, steps to U.S studies, and exchange and scholarship programs. He also graduated from a university in America and got Fullbright Scholarship. He tells about his experiences while studying in America, and how to adapt to an environment that is far different from Indonesia.
After gave explanation around 30 minutes, followed by question and answer session 30 minutes. Head of International programs, Hepy Adityarini, Ph.D gave internet data quota as a gift.
