Rector UMS Greeted UMS Mobility Program Students From Various Countries

Pabelan-Rector of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) Prof. Dr. Sofyan Anif, M.Si greeted his students who were taking part in mobility programs in three countries and received various suggestions from students on Thursday (9/12/21) via zoom.

Previously, UMS had dispatched a number of students to several countries in the mobility program as stated by Vice Rector 5 Prof. Supriono, Ph.D. “We send our students to three countries, namely South Korea at Yongsan University, Dong A University and Dong Eui University and there is 1 university in Taiwan,” said Supriono.

Rector Sofyan Anif also conveyed about the UMS Vision in 2029 which has begun to be realized in various activities and programs at UMS. “We have carried out Islamic science and technology in various forms of programs and activities,” said Sofyan.

In addition, the 4th Catur Dharma, namely Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) has also been realized not only in governance but also in the entire system at UMS, “Including systems related to our international programs such as Student Mobility,” said the Rector of UMS. it again.

On this occasion, the Rector of UMS received various inputs from students, including those related to language issues in carrying out life abroad.

Dhina Pratiwi, one of the students who did double degree at the Department of Broadcasting and Photography at Yongsan University, provided input regarding the language of the destination country, “UMS can provide Korean language classes for students who want to go to Korea,” said Dhina in a sharing session.
