June 6, 2022, Office of International Cooperation and Affairs (BKUI) had guests from Universitas Setia Budi Surakarta (USB) in the context of a Comparative Study of International Programs and Immigration.
Opened by Prof. Supriyono, Ph.D who explained the role of BKUI in managing several programs such as the International Priority Scholarship (IPS). Developing Countries Partnership (KNB), Darmasiswa and Palestine Scholarships where students from various countries such as Morocco, Palestine, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Benin, America, Hungary, Mexico, Thailand, Laos and several other countries.
From USB, started by Vice Rector III Dr. Titik Sunarni, S.Si., M.Di., Apt, who introduced the participants of this forum from Vice Rector I Dr. Dra. Peni Pujiastuti, M.Si, Vice Rector II Narimo, S.T., MM., Deputy Head of BPH Agus Endrianto Suseni, S.E, MBA, Head of New Student Admissions Bureau dr. Lucia Sincu G, M.Kes, Head of D4 Health Analysis Study Program Dr. Dian Kresdiyapana, S.Si., M.Si, Head of PIN Indriana R., Head of Collaboration Ida Giyanti, Head of BAA SI Daniel Sujatmiko and head of IT Indarto.
Vice Rector III of USB explained that USB has not been opened specifically for International classes but already has foreign students who have studied at USB by using Indonesian as the language of delivery.
Furthermore, the forum continued with Ir. Waluyo Adi Siswanto, Ph.D as the head of BKUI, explained about the existing structure in BKUI and also explained about the Vision and Mission of BKUI in participating in World University Ranking (WUR), he also told about BKUI’s milestones in managing international programs. The forum continued with discussions and sharing between BKUI UMS and USB which discussed immigration and the management of foreign students at UMS.
