It was held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in the BPH Meeting Room on the 6th floor of the Siti Walidah Main Building.

The signing of the MoU and MoA was attended by Vice rector V Prof. Supriyono, Ph.D representing UMS Chancellor, Director of Postgraduate Prof. Farid Wajdi, Ph.D, Head of the Bureau of Collaboration and International Affairs Waluyo Adi Siswanto, Ph.D, Head of Doctoral of Law Prof. Dr. Absori, M.Hum and Head of Academic Collaboration Denny Vitasari, Ph.D. while from Univrsitas Lancang Kuning consisted of the Rector Dr. Junaidi, M. Hum, Director of postgraduate Dr. Adolf Bastian, M.Pd., Coordinator of Collaboration and promotion Dr. fahmi Oemar, M.M., secretary of the Master of Law Silm Oktapani, M.H.

In his speech, the Vice Rector V representing the rector of UMS said that he was sorry that the rector could not attend because it coincided with the agenda in Bandung. Prof. Supriyono, Ph.D said that currently the number of active students is around 35,000 students. UMS has 36 undergraduate programs, 14 master programs and 3 doctoral programs.

After that, the Rector of UNILAK said that the current number of students reached 8,000 students, 25 study programs. Regarding the collaboration with postgraduate programs, it is hoped that lecturers at the UNILAK who still hold a master’s degree can continue the doctoral program at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

Then the signing of the MoU represented by WR 5 prof. Supriyono, Ph.D with the Rector of UNILAK Dr. Junaidi, M. Hum.

Then continued the signing of the MoA between the Director of postgraduate of UMS represented by Prof. Farid Wajdi, Ph.D and the Director of Postgraduate of UNILAK represented by Dr. Adolf Bastian, M.Pd.

The event was followed by a discussion between the UMS postgraduate and the UNILAK Postgraduate which discussed further study plans and tridharma activities between UMS and UNILAK. Dr. Adolf Bastian, Ph.D hopes that we can implement the collaboration program soon.
