ums.ac.id, SURAKARTA – Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), as one of the largest private universities in Indonesia, collaborates with IM3 to provide the best IM3 network support at UMS by establishing the IM3 Digital Experience Center (DXC), which was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, October 10th, at the UMS Lakefront Cafeteria.
The collaboration between UMS and IM3 aims to channel the students’ abilities in academic development and community service. In addition to the enhanced internet network facilities, Nicky Lee, Director and Chief Financial Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, who was present at the DXC inauguration, also mentioned that Indosat is offering significant opportunities for UMS students to join the Indosat Ooredoo Internship Program.
“We are grateful to UMS for the responsibility in this collaboration. Indosat is opening opportunities for students to join and collaborate in the Internship Program because we also learn a lot from young talents,” Lee stated.
Prof. Supriyono, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Vice Rector V, welcomed the UMS X IM3 collaboration. He also explained that UMS fully supports the Internship Program, including the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which is currently a general issue, in order to improve the on-time graduation rate and provide work experience for students.
“Quality and on-time graduation of students are of concern to higher education institutions. We warmly welcome and emphasize that internship programs have become a general issue in this cooperation,” said Prof. Supriyono.
Furthermore, the UMS X IM3 collaboration also provides support in the form of the Digital Collaboration Experience area, opportunities in Technopreneurship, and Experience Digital and Telco Business, which offer opportunities for knowledge development by maximizing the IM3 platform. (Eva/Humas)
