Ten management students and a PAI student were accompanied by a management lecturer, Mr. Kussudyarsana, Ph.D went to Malaysia from Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang. 11 students and 1 lecturer participated in the Summer Camp that have been held on 7th – 14th September 2019. The places that visited are Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). The aim of the Summer Camp is to general lecturing, tour campus (visiting some departments and library), and promoting UTHM. It also aims to explore about Malaysian culture.
11 students stayed at Tun Syed Nasir Residental College. First day, their activities were Campus tour; visited UTHM library “Tunku Tun Aminah Library”, visited UTHM lecture buildings. Then they visited Historical places in Melaka, travelled around Melaka by boat, and went to shopping centers.
In addition, summer camp students are given the opportunity to attend lectures at UTHM according to their majors with different subjects for 2 days, with the aim of being able to feel some lecturers at UTHM. After that, there was also an opening and closing with UNNESA students who took part in student exchange programs and sharing experiences.
The activities of the summer camp program closed by giving souvenirs from UMS to UTHM, also presentation by playing videos contained activities for 4 days at UTHM and giving impressions while at UTHM.
