Universitas Nasional visited Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta for benchmarking in the context of the comparative study of International Students and Academic Facilities. This event took place on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 09:00 AM (GMT+7) in the Rectorate Meeting Room of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

The purpose of this activity is to learn and adopt best practices implemented by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta in organizing international classes and managing academic facilities. This event also serves as an exchange of information and experiences between the two universities in an effort to improve the quality of education and academic services.

UMS, through BKUI, was providing an overview of the progress in the recruitment of international students at UMS and the funding schemes applied. Additionally, UMS also explained the utilization of human resources and facilities at UMS to support educational activities. Universitas Nasional responded positively to the presentation given by UMS, engaging in active discussions to further explore the details of the topics presented. After the benchmarking activity was completed, the event was continued with a campus tour.
It is hoped that through this activity, both universities can establish good cooperation and mutually support each other in various academic aspects.
