This program is sponsored by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta for foreign students from various countries.
Brief Description
International Priority Scholarship, also known as IPS, is an Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship offered by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
IPS provides the opportunities for Moslem youths graduated from Senior High School Students for Undergraduate Program and Undergraduate Students for Postgraduate Program in moslem developing countries.
Fields Study
- Undergraduate
- All Undergraduate Programmes (both Regular and International Class) that are available at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Regular Class uses Bahasa as a medium of instruction whereas International Class is offered in English except Islamic Studies is offred in Arabic.
- Postgraduate
- All Postgraduate Programmes offered in Bahasa Indonesia except Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (Master of English Education) which delivered in English.

- Undergraduate
- 1. Tuition fee for 8 Semester
2. Living allowance of IDR 1.750.000/Month
3. Books allowance of IDR 50.000/Month
4. VISA fees
5. Limited Stay Permit
6. Return air flight ticket
7. Health Insurance
8. Free Bahasa Class 1 Year
- Postgraduate
- 1. Tuition fees for 4 Semester (Master Program) & 6 Semester (Doctoral Program)
2. Living allowance of IDR 1.750.000/Month
3. Books allowance of IDR 50.000/Month
4. VISA fees
5. Limited Stay Permit
6. Return air flight ticket
7. Health Insurance
8. Free Bahasa Class 1 Year
Student Admission Flowchart
Since some countries do not have embassy in Indonesia it will be difficult for students to extend their passport. Therefore, we highly recommend you have passport valid minimum 18 months when you apply for scholarship.
